Despite losing quarterback Terry Bridgewater after a hard hit to the head, the Minnesota Vikings still pulled off a 21-18 overtime win against the St. Louis Rams at home yesterday.

Vikings are tied for first in the NFC North with Green Bay, who lost another game last night, their second in a row after starting 6-0. Carolina Panthers beat the travelling Packers 37-29. Panthers are still undefeated at 8-0.

The Chicago Bears are travelling for Monday night football tonight as they take on the San Diego Chargers. Kickoff is at 7:25 tonight.

The Undefeated Iowa Hawkeyes are climbing in the AP Polls. They’re now 8th in the polls after a win at Indiana, putting them at 9-0 on the season and 5-0 in the Big Ten.

Jimmie Johnson came out the winner at the AAA Texas 500, his fourth straight fall race in Texas. He passed up Brad Keslowski, who led for 312 of the 334 laps, for the victory.
