Democratic State Senator Tom Courtney will be facing a General Election Challenger this year.
Tom Greene, a Burlington pharmacist and former school board president, announced he will challenge the 13-year incumbent yesterday.
Courtney has faced two Republican challengers before, in 2008 and in 2012. He was first elected in 2002 and serves as the Senate Majority Whip.
