Obituaries Thursday November 12th

Howard Ray Kilbride, 70, of Burlington, died Monday, November 9, 2015, at his home.

Born May 4, 1945, in Knox County, MO, he was the son of Francis Pearl and Francille Mildred Baker Kilbride. He married Hope Darlene Ferguson and they later divorced.

Howard worked as a mechanic for M.J. Daly Construction since 1967.

He enjoyed fishing, going down to the Mississippi River Front, and the Pigeon Show Buy, Sell, and Trade at the college. He will be forever remembered for his superior ability in mechanics.

Survivors include his two daughters, Gina (Tod) Riherd of Mediapolis, Carol (Aaron Oetken) Chandler of Mediapolis; one son, Mike (Shannon) Kilbride of Burlington; three brothers, LaVerne (Julia) Kilbride of Nocona, TX, Jerry (Joanne) Kilbride of Morning Sun, Terry (Robbie) Kilbride of Mediapolis; two sisters, Arlene Blaise of Wayland, MO Mildred (Harold) Sharpe Wood of La Belle, MO; six grandchildren, Anthony Riherd, Patrick Riherd, Chadley Kilbride, Riley Kilbride, Jacob Lofthus, Cal Chandler; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two Brother-In-Laws Harold Blaise and Harold Sharpe.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh-Thielen Crematory.

Visitation will be from noon until 7:00 PM with the family to receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday, November 13, 2015 at Prugh-Thielen Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.

Harold A. Luecking, 97, Danville died Tue 11/10 at the Danville Care Center.

He is survived by his wife, Leona.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM Sat 11/14 at Lunning Chapel with burial in the Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the time of service Saturday.
