Southeastern Community College fought off Northern Iowa Area Community College at home last night, coming away with an 81-67 win. SCC is undefeated through four games this season. Girls squad also pulled through with a win over Carl Sandburg 76-68.
In the NHL, the Chicago Blackhawks dropped a game to New Jersey, 3-2. St. Louis Blues fell to the New York Rangers, 6-3.

The St. Louis Rams are going to have a lot to deal with on Sunday as they take on the Chicago Bears with two of their players, WR stedman Bailey and RB Trey Watts suspended on substance abuse charges. Green Bay hosts Detroit and Minnesota Travels to Oakland. Thursday night football last night saw the Buffalo Bills beat the New York Jets 22-17.
