In Football last night the Chicago Bears won in St. Louis against the Rams, securing their third road win in the last four with the 37-13 victory.

Minnesota Vikings’s Adrian Petersen rushed for 203 yards to give the Vikings a win over the Oakland Raiders 30-14.

Green Bay Packers, having started 6-0, struggled last night against a team that was 1-7 coming in to last night, they lost to the Detroit Lions 18-16.

Kansas City Chiefs upset Peyton Manning’s passing of the record-breaking 71,338 yard mark to hold the leagues all-time passing record. Chiefs beat the Broncos 29-13.

in College Basketball action the Iowa Hawkeyes routed Coppin State 103-68. Hawkeye Women beat UT-Martin 62-56. SCC’s women’s squad beat Moberly Area 62-52 Western Illinois’ women’s team beat SIU Edwardsville, 78-74, their mens team beat Hannibal-LaGrange 94-57.

And in NASCAR action their field was narrowed down to four. Dale Earnhardt Jr. won the rain shortened race at Phoenix International, but it was Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch, Martin Truex Jr, and Jeff Gordon who won the last spots in the Chase for the Sprint Cup Championship.+
