The Chicago Cubs’ Kris Bryant has been unanimously named the 2015 Rookie of the Year by the Baseball Writers Association of America. Bryant, at just 23 years old, recorded 26 home runs, 99 RBIs, 62 extra base hits and 273 total bases during his breakout rookie year.

Western Illinois University Basketball scored four points in the latest AP poll after a win over nationally-ranked Wisconsin on Friday. The leathernecks knocked the Badgers out of the top 25. It’s the first time the school has been awarded any points in the AP poll.

Chicago State never stood a chance last night against the Iowa State Cyclones in Ames. The Cyclones won 106-64.

In NBA basketball, the Chicago Bulls beat the Indiana Pacers by a hair, 96-95.

In the NHL, the St. Louis Blues beat Winnipeg 3-2.
