Tighter Security at Kinnick Stadium Due to Paris Attacks

IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) — Fans should expect tighter security at Iowa’s final home game at Kinnick Stadium against Purdue on Saturday.

The University of Iowa says it will take several steps to increase safety at the 70,000-seat venue in response to the Paris attacks. The school said that fans should arrive early and expect an extensive screening process similar to one in place at NFL stadiums. In particular, only clear bags and small bags will be allowed inside. Backpacks, purses and handbags will be banned.
