Man Arrested on Suspicion of Assaults at University of Iowa

IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) — A 32-year-old man has been formally arrested on suspicion of multiple assaults earlier this month at the University of Iowa.

Weinstein has been charged with one count of third-degree sexual abuse, four counts of assault with intent to commit sexual abuse and three counts of third-degree harassment. Authorities say Weinstein is suspected of a series of physical and verbal attacks on campus on November 10th. The incidents prompted a series of emergency alerts to UI students, faculty and staff.
