LaHarpe is kicking off their Christmas Season tonight with the 4th Annual LaHarpe Country Christmas. A business open house, a massive holiday parade, and plenty more holiday activities will take place during the event.
“There’s going to be horse drawn carriage rides, craft show, vendor blender… the methodist church will have the festival of trees and the sweet shop. There’s a frozen turkey raffle. Santa and Mrs Claus…the art students from Illini West will be displaying their artwork at the Christian Church, and chestnuts roasting on an open fire,” event Organizer Casey Yeager explained.
The event kicks off at 5:00 pm with the business open house. The parade sets off at 7:00 pm and will wind through the main streets of LaHarpe.
