SCC Packed it in Pink last night at Loren Walker Arena, and while Great River Hospice program may have benefitted from the event, SCC’s men’s basketball team did not, losing to Illinois Central 60-55. That’s the lowest point total for the team all season.
In other basketball action on the college level, 14th ranked Iowa State fell to Texas Tech by a nose, 65-62 on the road.
In college action tonight, 4th ranked Iowa takes on Indiana. Western Illinois takes on Denver.
High school action last night West Central beat A-Town in a class 1A semifinal matchup 48-44 in Biggsville. They’ll face Princeville today in the regional championships.
The Chicago Bulls fell to the Atlanta Hawks last night, 113-90. They’ve fallen to third in the Eastern Conference Central Division.
