The St. Louis Blues are advancing to round two of the NHL Playoffs as they eliminated the defending national champion Chicago Blackhawks last night in game seven, 3-2. It’s the first time the Blues have been past the first round since 2012.
In the MLB the St. Louis Cardinals fell to the Arizona Diamondbacks 12-7. Kansas City Royals fell to the LA Angels 6-1. White Sox beat Toronto 7-5. Minnesota Twins beat Cleveland 4-3.
In Osccer it was Danville over Holy Trinity in Boys Soccer, IMS over Wapello 4-1. Fort Madison over Fairfield 3-0. Girls side it was Mount Pleasant over Washington 10-0. Holy Trinity over Keokuk 2-1 in overtime.
Tennis saw Notre Dame-West Burlington beat Keokuk’s boys 7-2. Davis County girls beat Holy Trinity 9-0.
Prep baseball Monmouth-Roseville beat West hancock 16-10. Illini West over Brown County 10-9. Softball Brown County over Illini West 1-0.
