The the Illinois Class 2A regional softball semifinal, West Hancock fell to Illini Bluffs in a 7-1 rout.
Despite falling to NIACC in the Region 11 title games, the SCC Blackhawks still had four players, Ben Schandling, Gabriel Montero, Oswaldo Calderon and Luis Vargas, make the All-Region first team and an additionally two, Oliver Baez and Adonis Lao, make the all-region second team.
