The Burlington Greyhound softball team fell in a doubleheader to Fairfield at home, losing 3-2 and 7-3. Mount Pleasant took down 5th ranked New London 9-3. West Burlington-Notre Dame over Winfield-Mount Union 4-2. 14th ranked Louisa-Muscatine split with Wilton, winning 15-5 and losing 7-6.
In baseball, Central Lee over Pekin 8-2.
The St. Louis Cardinals have Swept the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field, closing that three game sweep with a 7-2 win last night. Royals fell to the Mets 4-3. White Sox beat Boston 8-6.
The Burlington Bees start play again tonight following the All-Star Break, they play Peoria at 6:30 at Community Field.
