Kansas City Chiefs beat the New York Jets 24-3.

The Chicago White Sox blanked Cleveland 3-0. Kansas City Royals downed Detroit 12-9. Minnesota Twins fell to Seattle 4-3.

Miami Marlins ace pitcher Jose Fernandez died yesterday morning in a boating accident off the coast of Miami Beach. He was 24. Teams honored him last night.

Legendary Golfer Arnold Palmer also passed away yesterday at the age of 87. The seven-time major champion and 62 time PGA Tour winner passed away as a result of heart complications.
