The Chicago Cubs have tied up the world series at one game a piece after beating the Cleveland Indians on the road, 5-1. It’s the first time the Cubs have won a World Series game in 71 years. The next three games of the series will be on Chicago’s home turf at Wrigley Field, where they’ll try to win their first World Series Championship in 108 years. Cubs pitcher Kyle Hendricks will start for the Cubs tomorrow, he’ll face Indians starter Josh Tomlin.

In sports action tonight Holy Trinity and New London face off in Class 1A regional semifinal volleyball action, Mediapolis hosts Pekin at home in class 2A. Girls swimming regionals take place tonight in Clinton and Indianola.

The Chicago Bulls will start off their season tonight as they take on the Boston Celtics at home.

St. Louis Blues will take on the Detroit Red Wings at home in Hockey.
