Damage to J&S Electronic Business Systems, the morning after a car crashed into the building.
An improperly parked SUV rolled downhill, jumped over a curb, and crashed into a local business yesterday evening.
Burlington Police say that a Ford Explorer, parked in the 1100 block of Jefferson Street, somehow jumped out of gear and began rolling downhill at around 9:30 pm, crossing four lanes of traffic, jumping over a curb and crashing into the J&S Electronic Business Systems building in the 800 block of Jefferson Street.
The car went through the wall of the business and damaged several large windows. Half of the car ended up inside the building.
Nobody was injured in the crash. The vehicle was unoccupied at the time and the business was closed.
