The Southeastern Community College men’s team fell in Region XI play last night on the road at Northeast, 76-71. The women’s team beat Southwestern 69-65.
Iowa Wesleyan’s men downed Eureka College, 106-74. The women’s team fell to Eureka 64-49.
The Baseball Writers Association of America voted Jeff Bagwell, who played for the Houston Astros, Tim Raines, a seven-time all-star who spent 23 seasons in the league, most of the time with the Montreal Expos, and Ivan Rodriguez, a 13-time all-star, were all voted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame last night.
