Aldo Leopold Middle School was under a precautionary lockdown earlier today as part of a police investigation into the possible presence of drugs at the school.
Superintendent Pat Coen says that the investigation was not related to any sort of violence at the school and that the lockdown was only precautionary.
Burlington Police confirmed on their Facebook page that the investigation involved controlled substances.
