The Chicago Cubs are giving a 2016 World Series Championship ring to Steve Bartman, the fan remembered for deflecting a foul ball during the 2003 playoffs. Bartman was harassed after the incident by other fans. The Cubs, in a statement, said they hope the gesture “provides closure on an unfortunate chapter”.
