The Burlington Bees balked in a pair of runs in a 2-1 extra innings loss to the Kane County Cougars last night at Community Field. The St. Louis Cardinals downed the Kansas City Royals in interleague play 10-3. It’s their fourth straight win and the third straight win in a row with 10 or more runs scored. They take on the Royals tonight in a game that can be heard on Newsradio 99.3 and 1490 KBUR. The Chicago Cubs fell to San Francisco 6-3.
