DOT Commissioners to Hold Public Meeting in Fort Madison

Members of the Iowa Transportation Commission are holding a public meeting next month in Fort Madison to get public input on transportation policy.

The meeting will be held at the Comfort Inn & Suites at 6169 Reve Court on October 10th, starting at 8 am.

Items that may be discussed at the meeting include the Iowa Transportation Improvement Program; transportation policies; and highway, aviation, rail, river, bicycle, pedestrian, and public transit issues.

On Monday, Oct. 9, the commissioners will meet informally and tour transportation projects in southeastern Iowa. No action will be taken on transportation-related matters during the tour.
