The 15 candidates vying for one of three seats up for election on the Burlington City Council will meet tonight for the first of three forums scheduled before the October 10th Primary Election.
The forum, sponsored by the Burlington Business and Professional Women’s Organization, will take place at Burlington City Hall starting at 7:00 pm. It’s scheduled to last two hours. Candidates will field questions from local media and members of the public. Answers will be limited to a minute each.
The forum will be broadcast live on Channel 18 in Burlington.
The Greater Burlington Partnership is hosting two separate forums. One will have 8 candidates on stage, the other will have 7. They will be held on October 3rd and 5th from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM.
