The West Burlington City Council has approved a bid for the Agency and Gear Avenue resurfacing project.
WL Miller was the low bidder at just over $1.288 million. That’s under the initial engineer’s estimate of $1.925 million.
The project includes resurfacing South Gear between Highway 34 and Mount Pleasant Street and Agency Street between West Burlington Avenue and South Gear.
It’s been part of the city’s long-term road goals.
