The Solid Waste Department has announced fall leaf collection days for Burlington residents.
Leaf collection will run starting next week, depending on your trash day. Crews will pick up bagged leaves, lawn and garden residue, and small twigs the day after your trash is picked up.
Friday’s route will be picked up October 16th, 23rd, and 30th, November 6th, 13th, and 27th, and December 4th.
Monday’s route will be picked up October 17th, 24th, and 31st, November 7th, 14th, and 28th, and December 5th.
Tuesday’s route will be picked up October 18th and 25th, November 8th, 15th, and 29th, and December 6th.
Wednesday’s route will be picked up October 19th and 26th, November 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 30th, and December 7th.
Thursday’s route will be picked up October 20th and 27th, November 3rd, 13th, and 17th, and December 1st and 8th.
Material to be picked up should be set at the curb by 7 AM on the scheduled collection day, and must be in approved paper yardwaste bags or in clean 33-gallon garbage cans with handles. They ask that you do not mix garbage and yardwaste.
