The potential for an active shooter situation is on the minds of many people. Being prepared for the event was the focus of an Active Shooter Response Course, held at the PZAZZ Convention Center this morning. Around 125 people attended the morning class, a second class was being held in the afternoon.
The attendee’s were given information on how to respond to an active shooter as well as instruction on first-aid and how to make yourself as safe as possible. The class was presented to by two Illinois State Troopers.
