Rock the Riverfront with Friday Fest

Jams past and present were rocking the Port of Burlington Friday night. The Mixtape, a band of five, started off the night with songs from Charlie Puth, Paramore, and countless other artists. Fest goers could enjoy refreshments from Parkside Brewing Company and Golden Eagle Distributing. This is definitely not the first year Burlington Steamboat Days has brought their music and fun to the port, and a number of local businesses participate to bring more joy to your summer.

Tim Lundgren said, “My favorite part of Friday Fest is coming out and seeing old friends and making new ones.” He is one of the thirty members of the Burlington Steamboat Days board and owner of one of the two main sponsors for this Friday Fest.

The two sponsors Friday night were Tim Lundgren Farm Bureau Financial Services and Brockway Mechanical & Roofing. Other businesses present were Pritchard Broadcasting where you could sign up to win a cruise and pick a drink koozie for an ice cold beverage provided for sale by Parkside Brewing Company and Golden Eagle Distributing. Concert goers were not disappointed as The Mixtape rocked the stage and prepared for DJ on the Radio at eight o’clock.
