Burlington Police Arrest Two for Gasland Robbery

Two Burlington residents have been charged in connection with an armed robbery at a Burlington convenience store early this week.

Burlington police say 32-year-old Domnick Demitrius Hogan and 33-year-old Susan Marie Tisor have been charged for the holdup. The incident occurred early Monday morning at the Gasland on North 8th Street. An employee told authorities that a black male had come in the store with a gun and demanded money, making off with an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.

Police were able to develop suspects in the case through a vehicle description provided by the store employee, a search warrant was executed at the suspects residence. During the search authorities recovered multiple firearms and other items.

Both suspects were taken to the Des Moines County jail where they are being held without bond pending a court appearance. Hogan is charged with 1st-degree robbery and possession of a firearm by a felon, Tisor is charged with aiding and abetting the robbery.
