It’s that time again — first half property tax payments are due by October 1st.
Des Moines County Treasurer Janelle Nalley-Londquist says payments can be made in the treasurer’s office or online at iowatreasuers.org until October 1st.
E-checks and credit cards are accepted online or in the office, although there is a convenience fee to use them. If paying by mail it will need to be postmarked by October 1st to avoid interest of 1.5% being added to your balance.
