Steven Messer
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office obtained a warrant on October 11th for 33-year-old Steven Messer from Selma for a violation of the sex offender registration, first offense. Messer was taken into custody and held at the Lee County Correctional Facility on a $2000 bond.
Bowe Cook
25-year-old Bowe Cook was charged by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office with interference with a correctional officer causing bodily injury. Sheriff Stacey Webber says the officers’ injuries were minor. This is the second time that Cook, who is being held for charges in Henry County has been involved in an altercation at the Lee County Correctional Facility. Cook and two other inmates were charged in an August fight.
