25-year-old Chelsea Smith from Fort Madison was taken into custody by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office after a warrant was issued for her arrest on the 19th of this month for a violation of her probation. Smith was initially charged with a controlled substance violation and got a ten-year sentence. Her bond is set at $10,000, she faces a revocation hearing on the 18th of November.
Jesse Garnsey
40-year-old Jesse Garnsey was arrested on a number of motor vehicle charges by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office. The Burlington man is facing speeding, operating without a registration, no insurance, reckless driving and driving while his license is revoked. Garnsey was taken to the Lee County Jail pending court action.
