A Keokuk man with a lengthy criminal history that stretches across multiple counties was arrested as a fugitive from justice on Wednesday afternoon.

The Hancock County Sheriff’s office says 49-year-old Scot Flora was taken into custody by the West Central Illinois drug task force in Carthage. He was wanted on warrants for escape from custody relating to original drug, theft, and eluding charges.

When arrested Flora had more than 15 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia on him. A search of Flora’s criminal history shows an expansive list of charges from all over Southeast and Central Iowa.
