The Lee County Narcotics Task Force reports arrests in two separate incidents.

Sherman

29-year-old Zachary Sherman of Keokuk was arrested on the 15th. Sherman is charged with possession with intent to deliver more than 5 grams of methamphetamine, within 1000 feet of a park, second or subsequent offense, a class B felony with enhancements. Also, he is charged with a drug tax stamp violation which is a class D Felony. If convicted, Sherman faces up to 55 years in a state correctional facility.

 

 

 


Jackson

Weir

In an unrelated matter, a Fort Madison couple, 38-year-old Christina Weir, and 46-year-old James Jackson were arrested on felony drug charges. Weir is charged with the following: 5 counts of delivery of methamphetamine over 5 grams, two of
these charges were within 1000 feet of a park, all are class B felonies. Jackson is charged with delivery of more than 5 grams of methamphetamine, a class B felony
