A traffic stop at Central and Elm streets in Burlington by the Burlington Police Department has resulted in multiple drug charges being filed on two women.
Around 8:38 PM Monday night, police spotted a black pick-up truck with the no illumination of the license plate. The officer stopped the truck with three people in it. One passenger was suspected of having warrants and was asked to exit the vehicle, at which point the officer noticed two cans of beer, prompting a search of the vehicle. The driver, Angela Henderson was found in possession of marijuana, a digital scale and three plastic bottles of the prescription medication Gabapentin.
The second passenger identified herself as Kristina Quaeles, officers were unable to confirm her identity and eventually located an ID in the suspects’ purse, along with two baggies of suspected marijuana, as well as pipes and a syringe of suspected methamphetamine. The suspect was identified as Lili Holster and she was placed under arrest. Holster also had a warrant for failure to appear on a second offense possession charge. Once at the Des Moines County Jail, she was found in possession of two bags of suspected meth in her bra as well.
47-year-old Angela Henderson was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of prescription drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was held at the jail on bond.
37-year-old Lili Holster has been charged with possession of meth, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, providing a false ID to law enforcement, possession of contraband in a correctional facility and was served the warrant for failure to appear. She was held at the Des Moines County Jail on $6000 bond.
The male suspect did not have any warrants and was not held by police.
