Wendy Zaiss
The Burlington Police Department took 40-year-old Wendy Zaiss into custody at 8:43 this (Thursday) morning. Zaiss had an outstanding warrant from Mt Pleasant for failure to appear for a court date on a charge of driving under suspension. She was transported to the Des Moines County Jail on a $400 bond for possible extradition to Mt. Pleasant.
Terry Wixom
53-year-old Terry Wixom was taken into custody on a warrant from Lee County by the Burlington Police Department at 1:36 yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon. Wixom was given a two-year probation in November of 2017 on a driving while barred charge. In October of this year, he was arrested in Des Moines County on a 3rd-offense possession of a controlled substance charge resulting in a revocation of his probation in Lee County. During his arrest on the warrant, he was found in possession of drug paraphernalia and has had a charge for that in Des Moines County. Wixom was held on a $1500 bond.
