Chad Barker
In April, the Keokuk Police Department arrested 40-year-old Chad Barker from Montrose charging him with forgery. Court records indicate that he pleaded not guilty in May of this year and is scheduled to be in court on January 15th on the charge. The District 8 Probation Office in Keokuk filed a report with the court on November 20th alleging that Barker violated the terms of his pre-trial release.
A warrant was issued for Barker in the amount of $7500 on November 27th by Judge Wyatt Peterson. Yesterday the Lee County Sheriff’s Office took Barker into custody on the warrant, he was transported to the Lee County Correctional Facility where he is being held.
