Daniel Summers

A 53-year-old Keokuk man was taken into custody by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office for allegedly violating his parole. Daniel Summers is listed as homeless on the arrest records. He was taken into custody yesterday (Tuesday) and was transported to the Lee County Correctional Facility. Court records indicate that Summers was in court on Monday and received a sentence of a two-year probation after pleading guilty to drug charges from earlier this year. According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Summers remains housed in the Lee County Correctional Facility.

 

 



Kory Wade

On Monday the Lee County Sheriff’s Office arrested 38-year-old Kory Wade from Keokuk on a warrant for violation of probation. According to court records, the Keokuk Police Department filed charges against Wade for an assault charge on Monday, he had already been served a warrant for a probation violation in November for an assault conviction in April of this year. The current warrant for violation of probation stems from a July charge for 2nd-degree theft and driving while barred. The District 8 Probation Office filed a report with the court on December 4th resulting in the warrant being issued. Wade was held at the Lee County Correctional Facility on a $2500 cash bond.
