Two of the men charged in the beating death of Eddie Breuer have pleaded not guilty of their charges.
26-year-old Majestic Malone entered a plea of not guilty to 1st-degree murder charges. His attorney also filed several motions, hoping to get him released from solitary confinement at the Lee County jail and allow him to be tried separate of co-defendant Markell Price.
Similar motions have been filed by an attorney representing Price, he’s due in court for his arraignment next week.
Another man charged with willful injury in the case, 49-year-old Stanley Baldwin, also pleaded not guilty on Monday.
The trial for Malone, Price, and Baldwin is currently set for June 18th with a pretrial conference on June 3rd.
