Attorneys for the two men accused of Murdering Eddie Breuer told Judge Mark Kruse that without examining evidence, they won’t have a chance at a fair trial.

The argument came during the Monday Pre Trial Conference. Attorneys for both men argued that they have requested to see pieces of evidence but the County Attorney’s office has failed to comply with their requests.

County Attorney Lisa Schaefer said she wasn’t sure where all of the evidence is as some of the evidence was seized by the DCI Crime lab while other pieces of evidence are at the Burlington Police Department.

Hedi Van Winkle, who is representing Markell Price, also said the county attorney needs to produce a full report of Breuer’s autopsy

Kruse ordered Schaefer to produce the evidence as quickly as she is able.

The trial of Markell Price and Majestic Malone will start at 9 a.m. on July 30 and is expected to last three weeks.
