Burlington Police aren’t saying Much about the two bodies they found Tuesday inside a house on Maple Street.
Lt. Adam Schaefer confirmed the deaths were being treated as suspicious on Tuesday. Yesterday, Police Chief Dennis Kramer confirmed that the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation was at the house Tuesday night collecting evidence.
The names of those who died will be released after they are identified. The Iowa State Medical Examiner’s office will conduct an autopsy on both individuals.
The bodies the police found Wednesday aren’t the only suspicious deaths Burlington is waiting on information from the state medical examiner’s office on the death of James Poggemiller who was found dead in his Burlington Home on May 24.
