Police Seek Info in Driveby Shooting

Police are looking for information in regards to a shooting in the North Hill Neighborhood Saturday Afternoon.

According to The Hawk Eye, A white SUV fired several shots at two african american men who were standing on the corner of seventh and north Iowa on Saturday Afternoon. A Postal worker was delivering the mail at the time of the shooting and was seen reacting to the shots in a surveillance video.

Police believe they have identified at least three of the individuals involved in the shooting, though as of Monday Morning no one has been arrested.

Saturday’s shooting came exactly one month after a previous shooting in North Hill. That shooting was just a few blocks away. There have been four confirmed drive by shootings in the past six weeks in Burlington. Suspects have been arrested in two of those cases but police are still investigating the other shootings.
