The Second Annual Des Moines County Conservation Summer Celebration is this weekend.
The celebration will be a free, family friendly event and will feature activities & food throughout the day the entire family can enjoy.
The event will be held at Starr’s Cavern Nature Center. Participants will be able to Hike the Starr’s Cave portion of the Flint River Trail, Wade in Flint Creek during a Critter Catch and Enjoy r yard games.
Shuttles will give rides to Big Hollow to show off some of the recent improvements and from the west end of the Starr’s cave portion of the Flint River Trail back to the Nature Center.
