The City of Burlington will be hosting a TIGER Grant meeting next week.
Back in 2018 the City of Burlington was awarded with seventeen million dollars with the purpose of investing in the city’s transportation infrastructure. The city will redo Jefferson and main streets with the grant.
The city still needs more input from the public. The public meeting, to be held on Tuesday, will include an explanation of the complete streets concept and the parts of a street. It will also go over the restrictions on what the city cannot do
After the informational section, the meeting will be open for public input exercises.
The Meeting will be next Tuesday, August 13 at 6 pm at the Burlington library.
