ROCK ISLAND, Il- The Quad-City Times reports that several students at Rock Island High school became sick after another student passed out candy laced with a cannabis product. Later in the school day, the few students who ate the candies were sent to the nurse’s office, but none became seriously ill or were hospitalized. The student who was suspected of handing out the cannabis-laced candies has been identified and is currently being investigated. Rock Island Police denied comments due to the involvement of juveniles.
