Burlington Drug Bust

BURLINGTON, Ia- The Hawk Eye reports that one person was arrested after the Southeast Iowa Narcotics Taskforce executed a search warrant at a house in Burlington.  Police arrested Timothy Bush and allegedly found meth, heroin, cocaine, crack cocaine, and marijuana in a drawer of the house on 15th street.  Police also recovered what is believed to be ecstasy.  Along with the drugs, authorities found small baggies that are usually used by drug dealers to separate and measure drug amounts.  Bush was charged with a total of six felonies for possession of illegal substances.  If convicted Bush faces up to 87 years in prison.  Bush is currently being held at Des Moines County Jail on a $355,000 bond.
