BURLINGTON, Ia- The Des Moines County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting a golf tournament On October fourth.
The tournament is being held as a fundraiser for the sheriff’s department’s K-9 unit to raise in order to purchase and train more K-9 dogs. The tournament will be held at Flint Hills Golf Course. It will be a four-person best ball scramble tournament, with a field of 144 golfers, yielding a grand total of 36 teams, and cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Registration forms are due by September 27th and space is limited to the first 144 applicants, the registration fee is $60 per player, which includes Green Fees, Golf Cart Fees, and Lunch.
