Outstanding Warrants Arrest

Carthage, Il-  On September 9th at approximately 11:30 A.M. Hancock County Sheriff’s stopped a vehicle at Madison St. and Buchanan St in Carthage after observing a traffic violation.  Two of the passengers were taken into custody after it was discovered they both had outstanding warrants.  One Passenger, 25-year-old Derek Miller of Carthage had  failure to appear warrants in two separate counties, and upon arrest was discovered to be in possession of methamphetamine.  The Second Passenger, the 40-year-old Kelly miller, also form Carthage, had two failure to appear warrants and a third for first-degree theft.  Both Miller and Kelly are being held at Hancock County Jail in lieu of bond.
