Burlington, Ia- The Des Moines County Treasurer would like to remind property owners that their first-half property tax payments are due by September 30th. Payments can be made in person at the Treasurer’s office until 4:30 P.M. Or paid online at iowatreasurers.org until 11:59 p.m. on September 30th.
If submitting by postal mail, your payment must be postmarked on or before September 30th. Interest of 1 and 1/2 percent per month will be added to this payment beginning on October 1st.
