Troy police arrest Hannibal burglary suspects following pursuit

HANNIBAL (WGEM) — Two Hannibal burglary suspects were apprehended in St. Louis following a vehicle chase on Saturday.

38-year-old Samuel Simpson, and 35-year-old D’Vion Harris, both of St. Louis were taken into custody following a pursuit by the Troy, Missouri, Police Department.

On Saturday Hannibal officers were called to a business alarm at Wireless Express located on Diamond Blvd. Officers found the business had been broken into and multiple items were missing.

Surrounding agencies were notified of the burglary in Hannibal and approximately one hour later the Troy Police Department reported that they were in pursuit of the suspects from the Hannibal burglary.

A Police report states items from the Hannibal burglary were recovered from the vehicle.

Warrants for Simpson and Harris were issued by the Circuit Court of Marion County. Simpson and Harris were both charged with Burglary Second Degree, Stealing, Possession of Burglary Tools, and Property Damage.
