Stefanie Joan Sink
A special Angel, Stefanie Joan, was born on Thanksgiving Day, November 23, 1972 to Robert Sink and Janice Burke (Sink) Neese. She passed away on October 21, 2019 at GRMC Klein Care Center.

Stefanie was sweet tempered and loved by all, she will be greatly missed. She attended Burlington Schools and was a 1994 graduate of Burlington High School. She enjoyed swimming, music/dancing, movies, vacations/amusement park rides, horses and Hope Haven activities.

Survivors include her parents, step-mother, Margie McCabe Sink, of Danville, IA; brother, Robbie (Jessica) Sink, niece & nephew, Kara and Karson of West Burlington; special aunt, Melody (David) Schulte (Stefanie’s Angel on Earth) of Dodgeville; cousin, Summer (Kevin) Madorin, Lincoln of Orlando, FL; cousin, Nicholas Neese – US Marine; step-sisters, Christy Neese of West Burlington, Heidi Neese of Raleigh, NC, Natasha Montgomery of New Rochelle, NY, Lailah Coulter of Richland, IA, Kelly Eilers (Scott) Neff of Ottumwa; step-brothers, James (Colleen) Neese of Cave Creek, AZ, and Jay (Becky) Eilers of West Burlington; aunts, Shirley Cramer of Ft. Meyers, FL, Vanette (Larry) Woolridge of Burlington, and Marlys (Larry) McClurg of Burlington; uncles, Tom (Ruby) Sink of Burlington, and Bennie Cramer of Fountain Hills, AZ; many cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Joan Burke, Paul and Marie Sink, and “best ever” step-father, Bill Neese.

In lieu of flowers, memorials established for Hope Haven Area Development Center and GRMC Klein Care Center.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM, Sunday, October 27, 2019 at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home.

The Graveside Committal Service for Stefanie will be 10:00 AM, Monday, October 28, 2019 at Aspen Grove Cemetery with Pastors Dean Graber and David Yonker officiating.

Colleen Jean Stoermer, 84, of Burlington died Monday, October 21, 2019 at Fort Madison Community Hospital, Fort Madison, Iowa.
Born Feburary 10, 1935 in Bentonsport, Iowa she was the daughter of David Charles and Marjorie June (Wolf) Looney. She married Hugh Stoermer on June 11, 1961 in Rock Island, Illinois.
Colleen was a homemaker in addition to working for IRC and Washington Elementary School food service. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and more recently attended First Christian Church ~ Disciples of Christ.
Her joy in life was taking care of her children and grandchildren. She loved decorating her home, tending to her flowers and was always on the go.
Survivors include her husband Hugh Stoermer of Burlington; seven children, Marjorie (Bill) Fry of Burlington, Sally Stoermer-Worrell of Gallatin, Tennessee, David (Bo) Stoermer of Dixon, Illinois, Michael (Vickie) Stoermer of Urbandale, Iowa Wade (Robin) Stoermer of Columbia, Missouri, Heidi (Douglas) Watts of Burlington and Holly (Bill) Swafford of Davenport, Iowa; 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
The memorial funeral service for Mrs. Stoermer will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 25th at Lunning Chapel. Inurnment will be held at Aspen Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service on Friday, October 25th at Lunning Chapel.
Memorials have been established for Lee County Hospice and Donnellson Care Center.
