West Burlington, Ia- At approximately 8:30 Am on Monday, West Burlington Police and Fire departments, and Burlington Ambulance responded to a reported two-vehicle head-on collision at the intersection of Gear and Agency streets near Great River Medical Center and Southeastern Community College.
According to a report, one vehicle took out the intersection light controls and some fiber-optic connections. Crews worked to clear the intersection and it was opened within an hour.
Care had to be taken as the one vehicle came to rest on electrical lines. The names of the victims have not been released.
